We offer dance classes for all ages and levels in an atmosphere that makes learning to dance FUN! Steps offers dance instruction for the little ones… for teens who didn't grow up dancing but now have the desire to learn… and for those who have the passion for dance, we have master instructors on staff so that they can excel in the art of dance and prepare for a career in dance!
We constantly receive feedback and comments from parents and dancers about one of the distinguishing characteristics of Steps Dance Center... "the happy atmosphere." The owners, instructors and front desk staff all make it a FUN, HAPPY and ENCOURAGING place to come and learn the art of dance. The owners feel that the combination of this atmosphere and excellent dance training is what has made Steps the "premiere dance studio" in the Greater Kalamazoo area. Our mission statement is what drives us to provide this atmosphere. We always have trained and "happy to be here" staff at the front desk to serve you and answer your questions. |

| Classes Start: |
Our fall classes begin the week of Tuesday, Sept. 4th, 2007 and run through our recital on June 14, 2008. We have an open enrollment with monthly tuition at Steps Dance Center, which allows you to sign up for a class at any time throughout the dance year. Give us a call to check on specific class availability… Individual classes and times are subject to change with enrollment levels.
We also offer Summer Dance Camps, Dance Classes and Master Class Intensives during each summer… call for more information. |

| Class Tuition: |
| Steps Dance Center offers the best dance instruction in the Kalamazoo Area at competitive rates. Our tuition is a monthly tuition September thru June, regardless of how many times your class meets each month... June is 1/2 price! More Info >> |

| Cancellations: |
| We follow the Portage Public School calendar for holidays and bad weather cancellations. For severe weather situations, check Channel 3 WWMT. When Portage Schools are cancelled, our classes will also be cancelled. Exceptions: Teacher Workdays are not considered a holiday, so our classes will meet. Other exceptions will be announced when necessary. Check our monthly newsletter or call us at 324-4999. |

| Class Size: |
We must have a minimum of 5 students per class and a maximum of 15 students. If a class is full we keep a waiting list, so that if there are any cancellations, you will be contacted. |

| Drop off and Pick-up: |
We encourage parents of young dancers to bring their student into the studio to help them get situated in class. There is a waiting area for parents to wait during the class. We do not allow students to wait outside for rides for their protection. If you do drop your dancer off in the parking lot, please use caution, as it is a very busy parking area! |

| Questions: |
| If you have any questions or concerns regarding your dancer's class or progress, our teachers would be happy to discuss anything with you, but many of them teach classes back to back, so please set up an appointment with them at the front desk. We invite parents and guests to visit class to observe a couple of times during the year… watch for the announcements. |
